Organisations with facilities – such as clubhouses, courts and pitches – affected by the recent storms can now apply for grants of up to £15,000 through the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Activity Fund.
Historic England has announced its Everyday Heritage Grants: Celebrating Working Class Histories which will fund community-led and people-focused projects that aim to further the nation’s collective understanding of the past. These grants will focus on heritage that links people to overlooked historic places, with a particular interest in recognising and celebrating working class histories.

vaccination programme has been hugely impactful, uptake of the vaccines has varied across Greater Manchester communities and neighbourhoods.

The Windrush Day Grant Scheme is part of the Government's work to create more resilient communities, where different religions, cultures and opinions are celebrated, underpinned by a shared set of values that champion tolerance, freedom and equality of opportunity.
There is a total funding pot of £500,000, with the following grants available:
£465,000 is available through small grants to LGBT+ groups and organisations who are community-led and whose primary focus is one of these 5 priority targeted areas: Trans and Non-Binary people; Those facing racial injustice; D/deaf and/or Disabled people; Older people; and Lesbian, Bisexual and Trans+ Women.
