Manchester Health and Care Commissioning, Manchester City Council, One Manchester and Young Manchester are investing £1.04million into the Covid Recovery Fund to support voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations (VCSE) to work together to help to strengthen their support to people across Manchester.
The Proud Trust, a specialist LGBT+ charity for young people based in Manchester, has been honoured with The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK.
The charity has been fittingly announced as an award recipient during National Volunteers Week, which takes place during the first week of June in 2021.
