Macc wins Manchester Voluntary Sector Infrastructure Contract

NHS EnglandNHS England is seeking your views on proposals to tackle the causes of preventable ill health in England. In launching the consultation NHS England has said: “We know that our health is shaped by the environment in which we live, the choices we make, and the services we receive. We need to take action on each of these”. The consultation on 14 October 2019.

Funding to support work around foetal alcohol spectrum disorder

gov.ukApplications are invited for grants to harness the creativity and capacity of the voluntary sector to improve outcomes for those living with FASD and their families, and to reduce the number of alcohol exposed pregnancies.

£473k is available for bids to commence in financial year 2020/21. The aim is for a smaller number of grants and therefore application via consortia where projects align are encouraged.

We Are Undefeatable recognises the unique barriers that those living with health conditions face and it is the first time a campaign has shown the emotional stories of men and women living with a variety of conditions getting active in ways that work for them.
