The VCSE sector is being asked to do more with less – and Generative AI is one of the most powerful tools within reach to help. But honest, jargon-free guidance on how to use it well shouldn’t depend on your budget.
That’s why this CHARIT:AI Conference is completely free to attend.
The first event of its kind in the UK, CHARIT:AI brings together up to 200 attendees for a full day of learning at The Hub in Hattersley. Speakers, working at the leading edge of Generative AI and digital poverty across both the private and charity sectors, will help you understand what these tools are and how to use and implement them responsibly in your own organisation.
What to expect
Morning – Talks and Q&A
A series of accessible talks introducing the key topics every charity needs to be aware of, with plenty of time to put your questions to the panel.
Afternoon – Hands on workshops
Four practical workshops led by the day’s speakers, giving you the chance to apply what you’ve learned and leave with skills you can use straight away.
Who can attend?
This event is open to charity staff, trustees, and community groups. Individuals are welcome to attend provided they represent a legitimate organisation.
A genuinely free event
This is a non-profit event, made possible entirely by the voluntary efforts of those at the venue, the organisers and speakers, who are all giving their time at no cost. There is no charge to attend – we simply ask that you register so we can plan for the day
Getting to the venue
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible. On-site parking is limited but there is plenty of street parking nearby, and the venue is well served by public transport from across Manchester and Glossop.
