Award-winning SICK! Festival returns to Manchester and Salford on 8-25 March, with a three-week programme featuring some of the finest and most hard-hitting new theatre, dance, film and public art from around the world, alongside fascinating debates and talks.
The Hedley Foundation's principal aim is 'to effect change for the better in the lives of young people'. The Foundation makes grants to UK registered charities working with young people in the areas of Recreation, Sport, Training, Health and Welfare, Support and outdoor Education of young people between the ages of 11 and 25.
Each year the trustees of the Woodward Charitable Trust set aside funds for summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5-16 years.
Trustees only fund programmes that run for a minimum of 2 weeks or 10 days across the summer holidays.
Grants can only be paid to registered charities. Most grants awarded are in the range of £500 to £1,000. Around 35 grants are made each year.
The Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund helps small, local community groups and charities by donating cash awards to support warm hearted people and projects. The Galaxy Hot Chocolate Fund is now in its sixth year and has helped to support more than 150,000 people through its campaigns.
The Co-operative Foundation is looking for up to 5 new partners to help them tackle loneliness among disadvantaged young people.
The LGBT+ Centre in Manchester is a haven, a safe space and a community for many people, especially those who are Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans. The building has been here for almost 30 years, offering support to those who need it and is a true part of Manchester’s history and future.
