rise fundRosa’s Rise Fund provides organisational development funding for Black and minoritised-led women’s and girls’ organisations across the UK.

Through this fund, Rosa are offering two-year grants of up to £40,000 to Black and minoritised-led women’s and girls’ organisations in the UK which have been established for three years or more, and which have an average income of less than £100,000 per year.

community fundNon-profit organisations across the United Kingdom can now apply for their share of a £3.5 million pot from the National Lottery Community Fund, in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s 70th year of reign.

Funding is for local projects which promote community development, local connections and commemorate the Jubilee.

Women and Gambling-Related Harm

Women make up over 80% of affected others who call the National Gambling Helpline, and 20% of gamblers. The number of women with a gambling problem is rising at twice the rate of men.

Living Wage Week

The National Living Wage, the minimum wage set by government for over 23s, is currently £8.91 (increasing to £9.50 in April 2022). This is not enough money for people to get by. The Living Wage Foundation campaigns for organisations to pay and government to set a real Living Wage, a UK wage rate calculated based on what it truly costs for people to get by. Hundreds of organisations across the country voluntarily pay this real Living Wage.
