Girls Friendly Society (GFS) Rusholme launchGFS Rusholme is a new group for girls that aims to help them grow in confidence, resilience and wellbeing, all by having fun and making friends.
The group will meet every Thursday at the Birch Community Centre and build a community where girls can be inspired, try new things and feel proud of who they are.

buzz Library and Knowledge Service is delivering free training sessions for health, social care, community and voluntary sector staff on misinformation and health literacy as part of their Better Information Programme. There are two sessions: Introduction to Misinformation and Health Literacy Awareness. Book your place to find out how you can empower people to make more informed decisions about their health through health information.
The Vision for Volunteering team has announced that their first workshops are now open for sign-ups. These workshops will help inform England’s Vision for Volunteering; a cross-sector consultation designed to develop a shared, actions-focused ambition for volunteering.
The consultation is led by NAVCA, NCVO, Volunteering Matters, the Association of Volunteer Managers, and Sport England.
Innit 4 Young People CIO, a young people’s charity based in Manchester, are running an online nationwide competition and educational workshop called SnapYourTown. The winner receive a Nikon D3500 DSLR camera worth £500.00, as well as the chance to photograph the production of ‘Innit’ at The Lowry in 2023.

The fund currently aims to help UK charities and local community groups continue their important work which may be at risk due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Women’s Sector Resilience Fund Phase 2, is a £2.1m fund to support local networks of organisations working with and for women to make change to systems that cause women’s poverty in their area.
