rank roundationPebbles is a small grants funding stream for UK registered charities and recognised churches which are raising money for projects where the total cost is less than £150,000. This money can be spent on short breaks (such as an annual respite break or holiday for disadvantaged young people), equipment (such as white goods), or capital costs (refurbishment or minor building work).

Have your say on Greater Manchester’s Police and Crime Plan priorities

gmcaGreater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has launched a public consultation on the next Greater Manchester Police and Crime Plan, which will set the direction for policing and community safety across the city-region for the next three years.

The public consultation will run until 30 November. Responses to the consultation will be collated and feed into the final version of the next Plan, which will be published in January 2022.

During the first pandemic lockdown, a significant number of VCSE organisations and groups had to either close or had to change how they delivered their services, some remotely and some with limited face to face operations. During this time, Macc set up and facilitated a discussion space for any VCSE organisations or groups who wanted to meet and share any concerns or challenges they were having regarding venue space. radequalRADEQUAL is Manchester’s campaign to build community resilience.

The RADEQUAL Grant funding theme for 2022 will be ‘Building Community Resilience to Hateful Extremism’. RADEQUAL define hateful extremism as ideas, attitudes and behaviours that are hateful towards specific ‘others’ and designed to undermine social cohesion.
