The National Lottery funds projects that connect people and communities to the national, regional and local heritage of the UK. Heritage can mean different things to different people. It can be anything from the past that you value and want to pass on to future generations. 
Safeguarding adults is about protecting those at risk of harm (vulnerable adults) from suffering abuse or neglect. 
It is recognised that certain groups of people may be more likely to experience abuse and less able to access services or support to keep themselves safe.

#DRYMESTER is a health awareness campaign commissioned by the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, which seeks to highlight the risks of drinking alcohol during pregnancy and the impact of Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). 
NCVO, ACEVO and Lloyds Bank Foundation are working in partnership on a project focusing on competition and collaboration between organisations bidding for public service contracts. The project, Rebalancing the Relationship, was launched in March 2019.
The project partners have launched a call for evidence to better understand the relationship between large and small organisations bidding to deliver public services.
NHS England has published a Voluntary Sector Partnership Podcast. It explores the value of a joined-up way of working between health systems and the voluntary sector, identifying the benefits of voluntary sector involvement in health and care partnerships and what this means for clinicians and their patients. 
Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) have announced that they are investing over £300,000 into the voluntary and education sector for the delivery of the THRIVE grants programme.

Greggs Foundation are also interested in new approaches and innovative ideas as well as sustainable approaches to supporting your community. 
Do you have a research idea with a tangible benefit for community business? Power to Change's Research Institute is reopening applications for research grant funding on 3 June. Power to Change are looking to fund up to 3 projects with up to £40,000 research grants.
