The Big Questions audience invitation

The Big Questions is now looking for audience members for series seven. The show will be broadcasting from Salford Quays on Sunday 19 January 2014.

There will be two shows filmed on this day, at 10am and 2pm.

The Big Questions is the BBC’s flagship ethical and moral debate programme. It is hosted by the experienced television and radio presenter Nicky Campbell, and airs on Sunday mornings from 10am-11am and from locations all around the country.

Greater Manchester Police – could you offer to host student police officers?

Greater Manchester Police are looking for community placements to host student officers as part of their learning and development programme.

This is a community-based project that looks at the working relationship, trust and confidence between the police and various community groups and partner agencies. Student officers will work on utilising and improving their communication skills, interacting with partner agencies and community groups and gaining an insight into how the Police work with other agencies and how the community at large affects policing on a local level.

Manchester City Council are calling for applications to be part of Manchester Day 2014. Now its 5th year Manchester Day 2014 will be even bigger, better and more spectacular!

This year’s theme is ‘Going Global!’. Manchester City Council are looking for community groups, volunteers, and organisations throughout the city to apply to be part of Manchester Day 2014 and work with them on the theme with energy, enthusiasm and commitment to turn all the ideas into an amazing day that stuns the crowds and fills the city centre on Sunday 22 June.

Healthwatch England: the way forward

When Healthwatch launched their Annual Report in October 2013, they started a conversation with the public, their partners and stakeholders about the rights framework.

Healthwatch know there are a number of frameworks already out there, including the NHS constitution, the Think Local Act Personal framework for care and the CQC's fundamental standards. Healthwatch will be working with stakeholders to bring these approaches together to establish a greater awareness of rights and would welcome your views about how they do this.

TAY Online Radio Project: Callout for New Members

TAY Radio is the Royal Exchange Theatre's online radio project, run and managed by young people aged 14 - 21 as part of the Theatre's Truth about Youth project.

After the success of TAY Radio last year The Royal Exchange are bringing it back. The Royal Exchange are looking for young people to get involved in creating a vibrant radio broadcasting presence, working alongside ‘Chris Jam’ - a renowned radio presenter, DJ, poet and creative, who has worked on Kiss FM, Galaxy and Unity Radio.
