Yaran Northwest – Alternative arrangements due to coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), Yaran Northwest is taking precautionary measures. From March, the Psychological and Counselling Services will no longer be able to offer face to face appointments until further notice and in line with the national guidance around social distancing – a way to reduce close contact with someone who might have Coronavirus.

The Manchester Carers Centre telephone helpline service is here for you if you have coronavirus/covid-19 concerns as a carer 0161 272 7270

The helpline is open Monday – Thursday, 9am-4pm
Manchester Carers Centre are increasing their capacity and staff will be available to take calls during these times.

Manchester Carers Centre are able to make telephone appointments to call carers back. If your enquiry is non urgent you can email: [email protected] to keep the phone line free for urgent calls.

Information for clients accessing Gaddum services

GaddumDuring the Coronavirus Pandemic, here is information about Gaddum’s services for their clients, partners and the community.

Gaddum are continuing to offer advocacy, carers support and therapy services across Greater Manchester. All of their buildings are now closed in line with Government Guidance, and all their teams are all currently based off site, and are social distancing.

Coronavirus impact survey results

Charities reported that they expect a 42% increase in demand for their services but a 48% decline in voluntary income, according to new research published on 30 March.

The survey, by the Institute of Fundraising in partnership with CFG and National Council for Voluntary Organisations includes data from over 500 charities on the impact of the crisis on their organisations. The data in the survey was analysed by PwC and the results reflect the urgent new situation charities face as they re-forecast their income and take steps to respond to the huge challenges they face.
