Ambition for Ageing have launched a new report Building Age-Friendly Neighbourhoods in Greater Manchester. Ambition for Ageing has found out what makes an age-friendly neighbourhood in Greater Manchester from over 3,000 older people. The World Taekwondo Championships arrive in the UK for the first ever time in May 2019. GB Taekwondo are looking for volunteers to join the Dan Clan as the taekwondo world arrives in Manchester.

Manchester Health and Care Commissioning (MHCC) is committed to moving to an outcome-based model of care delivery; following the development of an outcomes-based model of homecare, the next stage is to move to a detailed understanding of current and future “bed base” requirements for the population of Manchester. MHCC’s vision is to develop a commissioning strategy for their integrated health and social care bed-based provision across the city which better meets the desired outcomes and needs of the population.
