Our new courses use the theme of football to make learning fun and relevant. 

We offer two types of courses which are free for Manchester residents 

  • 15 hours
  • 50 hours (includes a museum work placement)

Modules include customer care, financial literacy and maths, museums for health and well-being, time management and ESOL or literacy development.

Mynshull’s Education Foundation Trustee Recruitment

Mynshull’s Education Foundation are looking to recruit new trustees to its Board.

Mynshull’s Educational Foundation is an old Manchester Charity. Thomas Mynshull was a 17th century Quaker who left a legacy in his will to “apprentice poor boys into trade”.

Times move on and today grants are given to students up to the age of 25 for educational purposes, i.e. equipment, textbooks and one off travelling expenses. The areas covered by this fund are the City of Manchester and its adjoining districts.

Volunteer with Tree of Hope

Tree of Hope are the crowdfunding charity of choice helping children and young people with a disability or illness by supporting their families to raise funds for specialist care that is not freely available to them via the UK healthcare system. Tree of Hope give access to corporate donations, GiftAid, potential grants from Trusts and Foundations and most importantly provide reassurance to donors.
