Spirit of Manchester
Our annual 'Spirit of Manchester' programme is a celebration of the work of thousands of voluntary organisations, community groups, charities and social enterprises in Manchester. We believe it's important to recognise, support and encourage volunteers and local voluntary action.
Fundraising Resources
There are a host of fundraising resources which a charitable organisation can use to harness donations.
We have compiled a list covering most of the available options in online fundraising websites, donate now buttons, online shopping apps, Crowdfunding and Gift aid. Each of these fundraising methods give donors different options to donate and make it easy for them to give.

Superfast Broadband Grants
Manchester City Council for a time limited period can help fund broadband connection for small and medium-sized businesses, and charities, social enterprises and other not-for-profit organisations.
Manchester City Council will cover up to £3,000 of the connection costs. In most cases, the voucher (which will be accepted by most internet service providers, including the best-known household names) will cover the cost of getting connected, leaving you to just pay the VAT and monthly subscription cost.
Youth and Play Fund Evaluation
Voluntary Youth Manchester, Macc and Manchester City Council are jointly conducting an evaluation of the recent Youth and Play Fund Commissioning process.
One part of the data collection for the evaluation is an on-line survey and we would very much welcome your participation. To complete the survey, please visit: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/youth_and_play_commissioning_evaluation, by Sunday 18 August.
