Manchester City Council has launched its Equalities Funding Grant Programme. The Equalities Funding Programme is worth approximately £660,000 per year and provides grants of up to £40,000 per year to voluntary and community sector groups to deliver projects to communities, which address inequalities faced by sections of the community in Manchester.
The City Council anticipate that there will be few applications requesting the full £40,000 and expect to fund a broad range of smaller projects.

Not-for-profit organisations that help people overcome barriers and gain the skills and confidence to get back into work can apply now for the penultimate round of the European Social Fund (ESF) Community Learning Grants scheme in the North West.
Constituted voluntary and community groups, registered charities, social enterprises and community interest companies in the North West of England can apply for up to £12,000 to fund programmes aimed at people out of work or recently made redundant.

Manchester City Council has launched its third round of commissioning for Youth Fund and Play Fund activities ( for further information, visit: www.manchestercommunitycentral.org/news/manchester-youth-fund-play-fund-...). In partnership with Voluntary Youth Manchester and Macc, Manchester Community Central will be running a series of workshops and support sessions to help voluntary and community organisations within the City of Manchester to submit strong applications.

StreetSmart supports a wide range of homeless organisations every penny raised in each city is spent only in that city.
Homeless charities seeking funding from StreetSmart should submit their application in writing during December.
