Getting the right behaviours and dynamics on the board and between board members is an essential ingredient for successful organisations. The Chair’s role in managing these dynamics is key as they have prime responsibility for ensuring the board has a productive culture.
This session will provide useful insight and advice on how to set the tone for the board, create expectations of appropriate trustee behaviours, build positive relationships, and manage difficult dynamics.
This online workshop is aimed at Chairs who are new in post or about to take up the post. The session will explore the leadership skills and knowledge that will make you the most effective Chair you can become – and the support that you might need. The emphasis will be on the strengths you bring, as well as the ‘gaps’ you want to fill. And we will offer some tips that might be useful in your particular setting.

This live webinar will give you the tools for dynamic and productive board meetings.

The day’s engagement will look at the CEO/Chair relationship from both perspectives. It is an opportunity for you to hear from and share ideas with your peers.

Managers are often the most under-appreciated but critical members of the leadership of an organisation. They have to juggle the demands of the CEO, Board and senior leaders with the needs and challenges of their teams. They have to balance leading their team whilst also remaining sufficiently independent so that they can manage performance effectively.
