This can be making the best of local resources or public spaces, addressing environmental issues or helping improve people’s wellbeing. One Manchester want everyone in their communities to have the opportunity to access positive activities that promote health and wellbeing, bring the community together and help reduce loneliness and isolation.

Tesco’s Community grant scheme looks to fund projects focusing on children, families and food poverty. Once the applications are chosen they will go into the in-store vote (the blue token scheme). The funding available for grants is £500 (3rd), £1,000 (2nd) and £1,500 (1st) depending on your organisation’s place in the store vote.
For 12 days – as part of Ecclesiastical’s movement for good – Ecclesiastical will be making £120,000 in donations to charities to help them deliver their vital work.
UnLtd makes grants to support the start-up and growth of social enterprises. They offer two levels of grant:
Pebbles is a small grants funding stream for UK registered charities and recognised churches which are raising money for projects where the total cost is less than £150,000. This money can be spent on short breaks (such as an annual respite break or holiday for disadvantaged young people), equipment (such as white goods), or capital costs (refurbishment or minor building work).
Women’s Resource Centre have been awarded the Women Thrive Fund from Rosa to develop a much-requested signature coaching and mentoring program, led by and for Black women as part of their Network for Black Women Leaders (NBWL).
A Good Thing (
MSA LIVE is an annual programme run by the Manchester School of Architecture. The key focus is on social impact and collaboration. If you have a project and think it has an appropriate agenda, you could work together with the School.
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has launched a public consultation on the next Greater Manchester Police and Crime Plan, which will set the direction for policing and community safety across the city-region for the next three years.
