Ellie Thouret and Donna Hawkyard of The Parenting Collective have designed the group in collaboration with local families to make lives a little brighter for new parents. 
Young Manchester is passionate about giving children and young people the opportunity to play. Open access playschemes are a fantastic way for children to make new friends, stay active and learn through doing over the school holidays. 
Manchester’s Early Help Strategy is being refreshed in 2018. Children’s Services are wanting to find out what’s working well, how partnership between public services and voluntary sector can work better together and how we can improve outcomes for children, young people and families in the city. 
Home-Start Manchester is seeking to appoint a Treasurer to the Board of Trustees. Home-Start is a leading family support charity which recruits, trains and supervises local parent volunteers who provide home visiting support to families with young children. 
Do you have parenting or caring experience and 2-3 hours a week spare at a time convenient to you?
Could you provide friendship and support to a family near you who is isolated and struggling due to poverty, poor mental health, disability, bereavement, relationship breakdown, housing issues?

Manchester City Council is leading the city’s arrangements to mark the anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack on Tuesday 22 May 2018. 
Those affected by those terrible events will want to mark the date in different ways, so the programme is varied and takes different forms, to make sure that people can feel connected to it.
