In response to rising demand as a result of Strep A infections, NHS England ran a webinar to share information with the VCSE. They are keen to engage communities and community organisations 
to share accurate information about the risks, and about when and how to seek medical help.

Single parent of bi racial children?
IAMI welcome you to take part in an online support group for single parents of bi racial children of Irish decent.
This group is run for single parents by single parents online once a week. Joining the group is free and you can meet other parents in a fun and informal way. The groups are child friendly.
The group launches on 10 November 2022.

Manchester City Council’s Money Matters Team hit the road this autumn, armed with tips and tricks to help residents with the cost-of-living crisis.
Applications for grant funding are invited from registered charities, community groups and voluntary organisations working to assist individuals who are disadvantaged, sick, have a disability and/or 
living in poverty within Greater Manchester. The priorities are:
Funding from the Chronicle Cinderella Home Fund is available for individuals or organisations to support the costs of respite care and support (including but not limited to the provision of holidays) for the benefit of children and young people under the age of 25 who are sick, convalescent, have special educational needs or are disadvantaged for any other reason.
AFRUCA is a national charity promoting the well-being and protection of children and families in Black and ethnic communities in the UK. The County Lines Child Trafficking Family Support service 
has been established in response to the growing problem of child criminal exploitation across Manchester.
Warburtons has announced the next set of deadlines for its Community Grants programme. The scheme offers small grants of up to £400 to not-for-profit organisations with 
charitable purposes that are operating in England, Scotland and Wales.
Employees of Warburtons are also able to apply on behalf of organisations if they are actively involved with them (e.g., they are a volunteer, trustee or active supporter).
