A week later and I’ve calmed down a bit now.
I’ve found it rather hard to judge whether our Macc to the Future event last week was a success. Still, that's a good sign.
The Transition Alliance have produced a map showing the boundaries of the North West Health and Wellbeing Boards and Clinical Commissioning Groups. This map will be of use to anyone who will be working within the new structure - particularly where this work crosses locality boundaries.
In the final six weeks of the new health deal for Trafford public consultation, the NHS in Trafford is calling on all community, voluntary, religious and special needs groups and organisations, to join in the discussion around the proposed service changes at Trafford General Hospital.
A new community toolkit, containing a DVD and several interactive activities, has been specifically designed for local groups to help them learn about the proposed service changes and encourage them to share their views and opinions on the proposal.

Learning from Zoe; A troubled teenager
The Manchester Safeguarding Children Board has piloted the new Social Case Institute for Excellence methodology focusing on a Manchester young person, who for the purpose of the events has been named 'Zoe'. The pilot has now been concluded and a number of findings recorded. The next step is to share these findings and consult with the Manchester children's workforce to inform an action plan.
We are pleased to announce recent improvements to our funding search facility which makes it easier to find potential funding for your group or project.

Are you involved in or thinking about becoming involved in, a not for profit project that includes the repair and re-use of a listed building or an unlisted building in a conservation area, that is of architectural merit?
If you are, your project might be eligible for a grant from The Architectural Fund (AHF).
