Manchester’s Baby Week 8-13 July 2024

This six-day programme is filled with FREE, fun activities and events that are designed to support your child's development from conception to 2 years old. There's something for everyone, like workshops, play sessions, free swimming, and much more. The events were carefully designed to help your child learn, all whilst having a blast!

Baby Week is city-wide, with events taking place in Manchester’s cultural venues, leisure centres, your local Sure Start Children’s Centres and Family Hubs, finishing with Family Fun Days in parks on Saturday.

General Election: Voter ID Certification support available

You will need a registered form of identification to be able to vote at a polling station during the upcoming elections. In cases where you don't have an acceptable form of ID, you can apply for a voter ID certificate online. If you need help with this process, libraries are running local voter ID sessions throughout Manchester. Staff will be on hand with mobile phones to help you apply online and to help take a photo for your ID.

Cost of Living Fund 2024

The Our Manchester Funds Programme Team are launching a £1 million Cost of Living Grant aimed at the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations which will be delivered via a small grant process.

Zuto Make A Difference Fund

The Zuto Make A Difference Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester.

The Zuto Make A Difference Fund aims to encourage and support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like.
