Advice Now: Housing Rights for Refugees - Homelessness & Temporary Accommodation course (5 days)

Advicenow is running a free housing rights course for frontline organisations supporting people with refugee status. The course will be delivered online and is funded by The AB Charitable Trust.

About the course

The course aims to give you the basic knowledge and skills needed to deal with key issues for people experiencing homelessness and living in temporary accommodation.

The course will be delivered online. You will be required to watch short introductory videos before each interactive session.

Trustee Roles & Responsibilities

This session will help you gain a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of being a trustee. It is an ideal introduction for new trustees, or as a refresher for existing board members.

This training explains good governance within charities, managing risks, charity reporting requirements and how to ensure your charity is meeting its public benefit requirements.

Seasons Wellbeing: Embracing Neuro-Diversity in the workplace

Creating a psychologically safe approach to neurodiversity awareness in the workplace & beyond. 

This live session is delivered by a BACP-accredited, CBT-trained therapist with a strong track record of supporting workplace clients and facilitating workshops across a variety of mental health topics.

This session is not therapy but is designed to psychoeducate and raise awareness, dispel myths, and foster a deeper understanding of neurodiversity in the workplace. The aim is to help create a more inclusive, supportive, and productive environment for all.
