Northmoor Community Association (NCA) are looking volunteers to welcome and support customers in their friendly Community Diner. NCA are looking for volunteers for 3 hours a week on Wednesdays or Fridays. No experience is necessary, just a positive, friendly attitude. Full training will be provided and a free meal from the Community Diner.
The Bishops of England and Wales have asked that a Day of Prayer for the Survivors of Abuse be celebrated each year on the Tuesday of the Fifth Week of Easter. Bishop John asks all parishes to offer Mass for this intention on Tuesday 4 May and to remember this intention with special prayers or a time of Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
NHS Blood and Transplant urges people to donate their blood plasma – which will be used to make antibody-based medicines called immunoglobulins, for people with weak immune systems and a variety of other rare disorders. Thousands of patients rely on immunoglobulin medicines for short-term treatment or lifelong diseases.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) oversees the police complaints system in England and Wales. IOPC investigate the most serious matters, including deaths following police contact, and set the standards by which the police should handle complaints. IOPC also use learning from their work to influence changes in policing. IOPC make decisions entirely independently of the police and the government.

Small and local charities with an annual income of £25,000 to £1 million that are led by and for members of Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities can apply for a two-year, unrestricted grant of £50,000.
The Made By Sport Fund welcomes applications from grassroots community sports groups based in any of the ten boroughs of Greater Manchester who are working with children and young people. The Fund aims to support organisations which are able to demonstrate that the Covid-19 pandemic has affected their ability to deliver their usual activities. The Made By Sport Fund is offering awards of £2,021.
