Queens Award for Voluntary Service Winners 2020

Macc congratulates all the 2020 Manchester winners of the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (QAVS). This is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen's coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups.

Compulsive hoarding can be a distressing and debilitating psychological condition, and since 2013 hoarding disorder has been recognised as a Mental Health condition.

Covid-19 Community Response Fund – Mental health and Wellbeing in Isolation

The We Love MCR Covid-19 Community Response Fund welcomes applications from organisations that are delivering new or additional work in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic to support their communities around their mental health.

The purpose of the Fund is to provide financial support to Registered Charities and not for profit organisations who are working to address mental health needs that have been caused or exacerbated by the pandemic. The Fund in particular will support our most vulnerable and isolated neighbours and communities.

Future Workforce Fund Grants Programme

Prince's TrustThe Prince’s Trust are launching a new grants programme for Greater Manchester, that seeks to support young people to cope with today and prepare for tomorrow. In partnership with GMCA, grants of up to £25,000 are available for organisations who support young people to remove barriers to engagement with employment, education or training.
