In keeping with the positive feedback received last year, the Directors are again producing a series of pre-recorded presentations in relation to the 2021/22 Annual Report and Accounts, alongside outlining Plans for the Future. A ‘Membership Report’ update will also available from the Lead Governor, with the results of the 2022 Governor Elections/Nominations also being highlighted.

The University of Manchester are looking for voluntary sector community organisations in Greater Manchester that support older adults and/or mental health to provide input into planning a research project. The project will be broadly about the implications of your organisation’s involvement in social prescribing by health and social care organisations. For example, its impact on capacity or how you work.

In 2019, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership asked people across Greater Manchester to tell them about the role and impacts of alcohol in their communities. More than 80 local voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, more than 5,000 people, joined in the Big Alcohol Conversation. From this, findings and recommendations were produced.
