Greater Manchester Work Programme Leavers Tender Update

In order to facilitate the opportunity for organisations to act as partners for this tender, Salford Council is acting as a broker to exchange information between lead contractors and sub-contractors. Sub-contractors send their information into Salford Council who will then pass on that information to lead contractors. Further details are available on The Chest.

New Blog on "The Chest" - Manchester's Procurement Eportal

More and more commissioning is being procured through The Chest, an eportal which providers sign up to and receive information about funding opportunities, and then submit their application through. Is "The Chest" Fit for Purpose?

The Chest is the e-portal for procurement used by Manchester City Council and other councils in Greater Manchester. As councils continue the move from grants to contracts The Chest will become the main focus for communication between the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) and council officers once the tender process begins.

Greater Manchester Work Programme Leavers Tender

A new 3 year tender has been issued by Salford Local Authority on behalf of all the Greater Manchester Authorities for support into employment for people who have gone through the work programme and have not got a job. Bidders can apply to deliver support just for Manchester or for multiple authorities.  There is a meeting for potential applicants in Manchester on Thursday 5th December from 2-4pm at Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St, M2 5NS.

Manchester City Council Advice Tender

A new tender from Manchester City Council has been advertised on The Chest. The tender is for advice services and is in 3 parts. Part 1 is for City-Wide Advice Services. Part 2 is for Targeted Individual/Family Advice Services. Part 3 is for a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Innovative Advice Solutions. All the tenders are for 1 year with the possibility of an extension for another year.
