Energy Bills Discount Scheme

The Government has announced a new Energy Bills Discount Scheme (EBDS) to run from 1 April 2023 for eligible non-domestic consumers in Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This replaces energy coststhe current Energy Bill Relief Scheme for non-domestic customers, which comes to an end on 31 March 2023 and provided a reduction on wholesale gas and electricity prices.

GM Poverty Action Warm this winter survey

GM Poverty Action (GMPA) is conducting research on the impact of fuel poverty on low-income households in Greater Manchester. As part of this, GMPA would really appreciate it if you can complete their Warm this Winter survey which surveyfocuses on the changing picture of fuel poverty across the region. VCSE Home from Hospital services provision

As part of the Home from Hospital Programme, 10GM are currently mapping out the existing VCSE provision of hospital discharge and admissions surveyavoidance support across Greater Manchester. This exercise aims to identify the needs of local communities with regards to hospital admission and discharge, and the gaps in current commissioning and provision.

Free wellbeing walks

Joy Ethic are running free wellbeing themed walk and talks which start in January 2023.

Fridays 12pm-1.30 pm at Chorlton Water Park – There will be shorter walks (between 25 and 40 minutes, (depending on individuals' needs) on Fridays at Chorlton Water park. Each session will begin in the White House with a short introduction and then after the walk, conclude in the same building with a review, chat and free brew and snack offer.
