This can be anybody has done or does something heart-warming for others. It doesn't have to be huge, just something special.
The Road Ahead - A review of the voluntary sector's operating environment is the latest NCVO analysis of the challenges and opportunities for the voluntary sector. It shows that there continued to be a rising demand for services but at the same time, reducing resources from local and central government. NCVO also predict that this will continue to present a challenge together with other issues such as the potential impact of the Brexit vote on the economy and household income.

The role of Manchester City Council's Valuing Young People Board is to oversee and promote Manchester's Young People's Strategy. The main items on the agenda were: NEET Reduction Plan; 2020 Vision; and Wythenshawe Youth Alliance.

As part of Student Volunteering Week 2017, Volunteer Centre Manchester is welcoming Guest Blogs from people who undertake volunteering and those who manage and support said activity. Today we have a great blog from Christian Sinclair.
On Valentine’s Day members of the Macc team, took part in a pilot radio training course at ALL FM, in Levenshulme. It was a thoroughly enjoyable team building day, and was led by the wonderful Jason and Annie from ALL FM. 
A group of older people across Greater Manchester have drafted up key messages to present to Mayoral Candidates. Today they’ve released two films documenting their questions, requests and ideas which focus on the big issues including health, transport, homes and democracy.
The short films made by and featuring members of the Greater Manchester Older Peoples Network talk about their views and hopes for an age friendly Greater Manchester. The scale of the task to unite the 10 districts of Greater Manchester was highlighted as a concern.
The Community Sports programme allows not-for-profit sports groups to apply for set packages of goods, which are then distributed to successful applicants.
