Gloriously Ordinary Lives for people with learning disabilities

The Personal Centred and Community Approaches team at the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership have been listening to what’s important to people living with a learning disability and their families, to ensure they can live “Gloriously Ordinary Lives”. Between May 2018 and May 2019 four Greater Manchester areas, Wigan, Rochdale, Bolton and Salford, worked together to find out and test better ways of doing things together to improve the lives of people with a learning disability.

Keeping Children and Young People Safe in Manchester Grant

Young Manchester are delighted to partner with Manchester Community Safety Partnership to launch the Keeping Children and Young People Safe in Manchester grants. Grants of up to £25,000 are available for organisations in the VCSE sector who want to explore and evidence approaches to tackling violence which impacts on children and young people. #IWILL Fund 2019

Community organisations across England can now apply for grants of up to £35,000 to help young people have a say in how community spaces are managed. The Fund is expected to make up to eight grants, available for one year. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to re-apply for up to two years' further funding, to build on their learning and focus on sustaining their impact. Coop Foundation
