The Prince's Trust – Get Into Technology programme

This September, The Prince's Trust will be launching their Get Into Technology programme in Manchester - run in partnership with Amazon Web Services (part of their Re/Start initiative) and Generation. Prince's Trust

This free 12-week programme will provide training to young people aged 18 - 29 to become Cloud Operations Engineers, with a guaranteed interview with a tech employer at the end of the programme.

• Promoting human rights
• Combatting discrimination
• Poverty prevention

Funding is available for projects of up to 12 months in length ranging from £500 up to £20,000 in Scotland, England and Wales.

Refugee and immigrant stories wanted for new Manchester mural

Manchester artist, Meha Hindocha, is currently completing an artist's residency at the Old Bank Residency which will take the form of a large scale mural produced for NOMA, celebrating Manchester's hidden stories. Like Manchester, this mural will be constantly moving, shifting, and changing as hoardings are applied around the exciting development of the NOMA neighbourhood. It is hoped that the mural will offer a fresh perspective of the history and development of our city.
