EY Foundation 2019 social enterprise accelerator is open for applications

Accelerate is a 12-month programme run by the EY Foundation for social entrepreneurs under 30 and/or social enterprises focused on supporting young people into education, employment or enterprise. No.93 is your newly renovated Health and Wellbeing centre at the heart of Harpurhey!

No.93, formerly known as Harpurhey Wellbeing Centre, is located at 93 Church Lane, Harpurhey, M9 5BG, opened on 22 July. No.93 will host community activities, volunteer led groups and also has a room for exercise classes and creative arts space open to everyone including centre users, local groups and the wider community.

The new centre also has outdoor space where gardening clubs will take place.

Monday 22 July 2019 marks 100 years (to the day) of the formation of Manchester and Salford Council of Social Service. Macc, Salford CVS and Gaddum have worked together to mark the occasion with a celebratory event at the People’s History Museum. We felt it is important to mark 100 years of social action across the twin cities of Salford and Manchester.
