Curious Minds: The Hour – Connect

The Hour: Connect is a relaxed, informal session where cultural education practitioners come together to talk, share experiences, and spark new collaborations.

There’s no speaker this time. Just space for you and your peers to reflect, network, and explore what matters most in your work with children and young people.

Who’s it for?

Artists, educators, producers, freelancers, youth workers, policymakers anyone committed to creating inspiring and inclusive creative opportunities for children and young people.

In Kind Direct – A clean start for children and young people

In Kind Direct is a charity that distributes essential products donated by quality brands and companies to community organisations, like toilet roll, toothpaste, period products, shampoo, deodorant, laundry supplies and household cleaning items.

Last year their research explored the experience of going without essential hygiene and self-care items through the eyes of young people. This revealed that four children in every classroom are affected, leading to feelings of shame and stigma.
