In Season 9 of the Meet the Mancunian Podcast, host Deepa Thomas-Sutcliffe collaborates with the Spirit of Manchester Awards to feature interviews with award winners and nominees from the city's voluntary and community sector.
Manchester City Council, along with key partners across the City, have embarked on an ambitious three to five year partnership with children's charity the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK). The programme is part of a global UNICEF initiative launched in 1996 that reaches close to 30 million children in 40 countries.
This year’s Christmas Ball will take place on Saturday 14th December and will be hosted by Once Upon a Smile’s charity Co-Founders Danny Miller and Daniel Jillings.

NHS Greater Manchester wants to improve children’s Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) services and would like to hear from you. NHS Greater Manchester want to hear from people living with ADHD, their family members or carers, and also want to hear from anyone working with people who have ADHD in Greater Manchester.
This project is part of a bigger piece of work called ‘Neurodiversity Programme’ to improve how NHS Greater Manchester care for children with conditions like ADHD and autism.
The fourth Family Hub is now officially launched this week: The Sacred Heart Family Hub-Gorton, Abbey Hey and Openshaw.

The Henry Smith Charity’s Holiday Grants programme supports recreational trips or holidays for groups of children aged 13 or younger who experience disadvantage or who have disabilities. There is particular interest in contributing to trips that would not take place without the Charity’s funding.
Applications are currently being accepted for holidays taken between 1 September and 31 December 2024.
Save The Children Manchester Team is looking for organisations or artists with a deep understanding of the Longsight community to collaborate with them in empowering families in Longsight to share their stories and engage with decision-makers.
