Make It Happen! Volunteer speed meeting with inclusive football groups

Do you want to see more LGBTQ+ inclusive football happening in Manchester? Come to Bridge 5 Mill on 28th February to meet inclusive football teams and organisations from across the city and find out how you can get involved and volunteer with them on or off the pitch.

At this event, you can find out about volunteering opportunities with local grassroots LGBTQ+ inclusive football organisations The AF League, Ball Together Now, Inclusive 11s, Partisan Football, and Union Manchester FC. Then, stick around for a free film screening and food and drinks.

Equality & Diversity UK: LGBTQ+ Book Club

Equality and Diversity UK run free online book clubs throughout the year, bringing people together to explore literature that deepens understanding, sparks conversation, and supports meaningful change.

All sessions are held on Zoom and are open to anyone interested in learning, reflection, and inclusion.

LGBTQ+ Cricket Coaching Sessions

Lancashire Cricket Foundation have organised a series of cricket taster events for the LGBTQ+ community.

The sessions are open to anyone (18 years and above) from the LGBTQ+ community or allies who are interested in cricket regardless of ability or experience level.

The session are taking place on 7th, 14th and 21st January 2026, 6pm - 8pm at Abraham Moss Leisure Centre, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.

Manchester Pride 2025 was a celebration of LGBTQ+ creative expression, protest, and love — but behind every magic moment were hundreds of creative freelancers who made it happen.

Now, those same creatives are facing real hardship.

NCVO: Introduction to EDI in charities (2 days)

This course introduces the key principles of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and how to apply them to your organisation.

This training will support senior leaders and trustees to embed EDI in their organisation’s culture, practice and services.
