Connect to Support Manchester - launches June 2013

Connect to Support, is Manchester’s new online Social Care marketplace and Manchester City Council are encouraging all providers to take advantage of this new and exciting way to market and transact their products and services.

Manchester City Council have collaborated with a number of other local authorities to provide Connect to Support - a web-based platform for a diverse, competitive, regional social care marketplace, where people can find products, services and activities to meet their needs.

It has been a long-held ambition of mine to be able to show the full extent of the enormous contribution which voluntary organisations, community groups, social enterprises and the community work of faith groups make to the city.

Clayton Vale Mountain Bike Trails

The new £894,000 Clayton Vale Mountain Bike Trail and skills area/ pump track at the National Cycling Centre, east Manchester, will open in May 2013 (the skills area is open now)

The 10.5km mountain bike trail will have unrestricted free access and allow mountain-bikers to enjoy off road rides on a large formal network within the Clayton Vale Local Nature Reserve.
