The Open Doors Project (free room booking)   

The Open Doors Project, established by The University of Manchester's Office for Social Responsibility in partnership with Manchester Museum, Alliance Manchester Business School and the Christabel Pankhurst Building, provides free meeting room space on the Oxford Road campus for community organisations. Bookings are available to voluntary and charity organisations, CICs and social enterprises, community groups, and residents’ associations.

  • To book a room you must be a VCSE group (including CICs and social enterprises), or a community/residents’ group
  • The types of events that can be hosted include meetings, seminars, and workshops – this does not include ticketed events (i.e. the events cannot be commercial in nature).
  • The minimum group size is 5 and the maximum is 90
  • Events in which children will be in attendance cannot be facilitated
