The awards will be supporting food pantries across the UK with an overall £50,000 fund available for Nisa retailers to nominate local causes. The donations of up to £1,000 per store will help food pantries provide essential food and other supplies to people in need. 
Do you work with children and/or adults at risk in Manchester?
Manchester Safeguarding Partnership is currently conducting a workforce survey and is keen to hear from frontline staff and operational managers across statutory and wider partners who work with children and/or adults at risk in Manchester. This is an opportunity for staff to have their say on safeguarding in Manchester.
A consultation has opened on new laws which will scale up preparedness for terrorist attacks, making sure the public is protected without putting unnecessary burdens on smaller businesses and organisations. 
This programme provides you with theoretical and practical skills in feminist leadership that you will be able to apply in your life, in your organisation, and in your community. This is for women staff members or volunteers at women’s organisations in the UK. 
Emma Dowling from the University of Vienna will lead an interactive discussion about delineating volunteering as a concept based on her recent research into the phenomenon and implications for practice.

Your voice can help create a new ten-year vision for Manchester – one that takes the city from 2025 to 2035.
Overseen by Manchester City Council, the Our Manchester Strategy 2035 will be the city’s plan for the next ten years to make everyone part of the city’s successes and make sure everyone has the opportunity to shape the future. 
Manchester City Council recognises the important role Work Clubs play in providing flexible and informal employment support to workless Manchester residents.
In recognition of the valuable role, they play in delivering employment support services, Manchester City Council has made available two-year grant funding for Manchester Work Clubs to apply for.
The Zuto Make A Difference Fund aims to encourage and support grassroots community organisations. This means small, community-based and locally controlled groups that manage themselves, encourage people to get involved as volunteers and who just need a bit of financial help to be able to work with their community in the way they’d like. 
Grants of up to £4,000 are available for registered charities, community groups, social enterprises, community amateur sports clubs, and other organisations across the UK to deliver grassroots sports activities that positively impact local communities.
