Learning from Zoe; A troubled teenager
The Manchester Safeguarding Children Board has piloted the new Social Case Institute for Excellence methodology focusing on a Manchester young person, who for the purpose of the events has been named 'Zoe'. The pilot has now been concluded and a number of findings recorded. The next step is to share these findings and consult with the Manchester children's workforce to inform an action plan.
The Common Assessment is a shared assessment tool for use across all Children’s services and local areas in England. It aims to help early identification of need and promote co-ordinated service provision.
