Whalley Range Climate Action Group is a group of people who aim to mitigate the effect of their local community on climate change and decrease the effect that global warming has on Whalley Range.

The Fallowfield Loop is a 14km long off-road path used by pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders running from Chorlton-cum-Hardy in the west through Fallowfield and Levenshulme to Gorton and Fairfield in the east of Manchester. Its name comes from the railway line which used to run along its length. These days it is tarmacked to provide an off-road route that runs from Chorlton in the west to Fairfield in the east.
