Gaddum have launched a Culturally Appropriate Advocacy service across Greater Manchester for Black Asian and Minority Ethnic people who have experienced treatment under the Mental gaddumHealth Act.

About the Culturally Appropriate Advocacy service
Gaddum will be delivering this service in partnership with African and Caribbean Mental Health Services (ACMHS) who have been Advocacy partners since 2021.

Mental Wellbeing Strategy Stakeholder Engagement Events

The Department of Public Health is hosting a series of stakeholder engagement events in late November / early December to support the development of a mental wellbeing strategy. The strategy will focus on a public health and social determinants approach to the prevention of mental ill-health and the promotion of good mental health and wellbeing. It will work alongside the existing healthcare system approaches to treatment and support for mental ill-health problems and conditions.

The Neighbourhood Health and Wellbeing Fund – Manchester Local Care Organisation (City Centre, Miles Platting, Moston and Newton Heath) is now open for applications from VCSE a blue bag with a yellow ribbon around the top and white pound sign on the frontorganisations based in Manchester.
