Emergency Alerts is a UK government service that will warn you if there’s a danger to life nearby. In an emergency, mobile phones or tablets will receive an alert with advice about how to stay safe.
A list has been complied of all the foodbank’s and pantries in Greater Manchester. There are 259 foodbanks / pantries listed covering all Greater Manchester.
Manchester Adult Education Service (MAES) are running training on how to support residents with the cost of living. Training sessions will run for 1 hour online. There is a fee of £200 for this training.
If you work in the voluntary and community sector, or for a smaller organisation, MAES may be able to waive the fee as long as all participants complete a short course enrolment form and there are at least 8 participants.
You can apply to be members of either the Making Manchester Fairer Programme Board or Communities and Power Forum and have an important role in helping to tackle the injustice that sees 
some Mancunians have worse health than others and die earlier than they should.
Manchester City Council, working in partnership with the Manchester Dementia Steering Group, is seeking to establish a VCS Dementia Alliance. The Alliance will support development of the 
Manchester Dementia Strategy and explore new ways of delivering meaningful support to those living with dementia across Manchester’s communities.
Manchester Care and Repair help older, disabled and vulnerable people to stay safe, warm and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.

The PaSH Partnership (Passionate about Sexual Health) in Greater Manchester is a partnership between BHA for Equality, George House Trust and LGBT Foundation.
National Lottery Community Fund is supporting the five-year TRANSforming Futures project to provide solutions to the issues in healthcare and justice for transgender people across England.
The focus of the Fund is communities-led, grassroots organisations that are led by and for trans people. Broader LGBTQ+ organisations undertaking trans-specific activity that is being run by trans people will also be considered.
