Refugee and immigrant stories wanted for new Manchester mural

Manchester artist, Meha Hindocha, is currently completing an artist's residency at the Old Bank Residency which will take the form of a large scale mural produced for NOMA, celebrating Manchester's hidden stories. Like Manchester, this mural will be constantly moving, shifting, and changing as hoardings are applied around the exciting development of the NOMA neighbourhood. It is hoped that the mural will offer a fresh perspective of the history and development of our city.

It has paralysed national policy and politics for the last 3 years and it looks like this is set to continue for the foreseeable future...but the phrase which is ringing in my ears from the speech is “the doubters, the doomsters, the gloomsters”. I suspect many politicians would put charities and campaigners in those categories.
