Greater Manchester Work Programme Leavers Tender

A new 3 year tender has been issued by Salford Local Authority on behalf of all the Greater Manchester Authorities for support into employment for people who have gone through the work programme and have not got a job. Bidders can apply to deliver support just for Manchester or for multiple authorities.  There is a meeting for potential applicants in Manchester on Thursday 5th December from 2-4pm at Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount St, M2 5NS.

RNIB desperately needs Sooty Box Collectors in Greater Manchester

Could you or someone you know be an invaluable help to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) by emptying or finding a new home for our lonely Sooty collection boxes?

RNIB urgently need volunteers across Manchester to help raise funds to provide vital services to blind and partially sighted people. Your spare time could open doors for people with sight loss.

Part of the Picture - LGB Drugs and Alcohol Research call for participants

The Lesbian and Gay Foundation (LGF) are looking to conduct interviews with LGB people who use or have used drugs and/or alcohol and have accessed help, advice or support for a substance use issue. This could include help, advice or support from substance use services, as well as the internet, friends and family, a GP, a telephone helpline, self-help books etc.

Consultation: Greater Manchester Draft European Investment Plan 2014 -2020

Greater Manchester (GM) has been allocated €415 million by the UK Government for the next European programming period from 2014 until 2020 and has produced a Draft European Structural and Investment Funds Investment Plan, which sets out the priorities which will be supported by funds that will come from the European Commission between 2014-2020.

Manchester City Council consults on mental health and wellbeing services
