Free access to the Gingerbread online information library

Gingerbread has received funding from HMRC which has enabled them to offer Voluntary and Community organisations access to the Gingerbread Online Information Library.

The Gingerbread Online Information Library exists to guide practitioners through sometimes complex legislation and policy issues affecting single parents. It is regularly updated by our dedicated information team, to make sure practitioners have the advice and information they need to give to their single parent clients.

Help The Homeless aim to assist homeless people throughout the United Kingdom to resume a normal life.

Grants are available to small and medium-sized charities in the UK working to assist homeless people to rebuild their lives and return to the community.

Help The Homeless provides small grants up to £3000 for capital costs to small and medium-sized charities with a turnover of up to £1m per annum.

NHS Commissioning Providers Advisory Group

The Board that is reviewing third sector funding for  voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations by NHS Manchester Clinical Commissioning Groups is setting up a Providers Advisory Group.

This group will undertake detailed consideration of the work of the Board, and is open both to VCS organisations that are already funded by NHS and to VCS organisations within Manchester that are carrying out health-related activity.

A free service to connect accountants who want to volunteer with charities that need help from financial experts has been launched by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Chartered Accountants' Benevolent Association.

The website, www.icaewvolunteers.com, allows not-for-profit organisations, including charities, social enterprises and schools, to post an unlimited number of roles for free.
