People's Postcode Trust provides funding for projects in Great Britain for the following themes:
• Promoting human rights
• Combatting discrimination
• Poverty prevention
Funding is available for projects of up to 12 months in length ranging from £500 up to £20,000 in Scotland, England and Wales.
Early Help Champion meetings are an opportunity to share issues and solutions to Early Help challenges, these forums are a great opportunity to network with staff from a wide range of sectors. The meetings host regular guest speakers and are an invaluable source of information on other agencies who may be able to support families. Accelerate is a 12-month programme run by the EY Foundation for social entrepreneurs under 30 and/or social enterprises focused on supporting young people into education, employment or enterprise. The programme is open to enterprises across London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Be Proud Awards are the city’s annual celebration of the extraordinary volunteers and unsung local champions who help to make Manchester great.
Now it’s time for you to nominate the individuals and groups who make a real difference in your communities, with 12 different categories to choose from.
The Holiday Grants programme provides grants for recreational trips and holidays for groups of children aged 13 and under in the UK who are disabled or disadvantaged. 
Schools, youth groups, not for profit organisations and charities are all eligible to apply.
NHS Blood and Transplant has launched a funding call to enable organisations to apply for funding to positively engage local communities in organ donation, address myths and barriers, and increase support for organ donation among black, Asian, mixed race and minority ethnic communities. 
Are you involved in community business? Are you interested in "wellbeing in community leadership"? In partnership with Power To Change, Stir To Action have launched a new small grants programme (£2,000) to fund individuals to undertake place-based research. 
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is the highest award given to local volunteer groups across the UK to recognise outstanding work done in their own communities. It was created in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of The Queen's coronation. It is the MBE for volunteer groups. 
Monday 22 July 2019 marks 100 years (to the day) of the formation of Manchester and Salford Council of Social Service. Macc, Salford CVS and Gaddum have worked together to mark the occasion with a celebratory event at the People’s History Museum. We felt it is important to mark 100 years of social action across the twin cities of Salford and Manchester.
