Online survey: Women's Road Safety in Greater Manchester

GMCA Greater Manchester Combined Authority

This survey asks women about their experiences as pedestrians, runners, cyclists, drivers, passengers, and public transport users.

The survey forms part of a research project commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority, which will build a detailed picture of women's experiences of safety whilst using the roads across Greater Manchester and help identify practical ways to improve safety, confidence and inclusion across Greater Manchester.

Stalking or harassment – have your say

The College of Policy is consulting on updated guidance for stalking or harassment, the authorised professional practice (APP) for stalking or harassment.

The Crime Survey for England and Wales estimate that around 1.4 million people experience stalking each year. Research indicates that stalking precedes the majority of domestic homicides.

Improving the police response to stalking is central to the government's mission to halve violence against women and girls in a decade.

Help women, girls and the LGBTQIA+ community feel safer using public transport

Join Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM) paid focus group and share your experiences of using the Bee Network. Calico is working together with TfGM to develop a virtual reality (VR) training tool aimed at helping address gendered violence on public transport.

Calico is inviting women, girls and the LGBTQIA+ community aged 18+ to take part in focus groups to share their experiences using the Bee Network. Apply to take part and if you’re chosen, you’ll receive £50 for your travel and time.

Hate Crime Awareness Series

Community Revival is running a free 3-Part Hate Crime Awareness Programme designed to help participants understand hate crime, stay safe online, recognise warning signs, and learn how to report incidents effectively.
