The People's Plan for Greater Manchester

So for that reason alone, we’re supporting the People’s Plan as a non-partisan, citizen-led movement bringing new and seldom-heard voices into the conversation about the future of Greater Manchester.

Prevent Awareness Community Education project launch

The PACE (Prevent Awareness Community Education) project, is a radicalisation and extremism awareness project, funded by the Home Office and supported by Manchester City Council.

The project is designed to bring together different communities to form a partnership to raise awareness about this very important issue and to look at ways to safeguard people from potential risks.

Manchester State of the City Report 2016

This Manchester City Council report marks the end of their Community Strategy approved in 2006. It details the 'period of transformational change' seen in the city over the last ten years. It also sets out a number of issues still to be resolved and states that some inequalities and challenges have been made worse by the impact of welfare reform and cuts to public services.

People's Plan for Greater Manchester launched

Devolution could be a unique opportunity for citizens and civil society to have a greater say about the future of Greater Manchester. The People’s Plan seeks to gather a wide and deep range of ideas and thoughts on what the future for all areas of Greater Manchester should be, exploring key issues such as the economy and jobs, health and social care, transport, housing, the environment, and how to build a citizen-led democracy.
