Lagan’s 9th Annual Cycle Challenge

Join cyclists from across the UK to compete in this year’s Cycle Challenge on Sunday 28 April 2024 where you can expect, challenging inclines, 3 routes available, fantastic views across North Wales, Cheshire and Blackpool. Riders provided with chip timer to track their exact finish time. Don’t miss out on the chance to challenge yourself, whilst raising money for an important cause.

There will be marshals along all routes and signs at every mile. If you’re a cycling enthusiast, this event is not to be missed.

Peer support forum

Do you run peer support sessions? Do you have questions, such as: How do I attract attendees? What makes peer support successful? How do I prevent burn out?

Join Gaddum’s Peer Support Forum to discuss the challenges you face and share resources and tips. All sessions are online on Zoom and are free to attend.

Cancer and Inequalities Fund

Would you like to help play a part in increasing early cancer diagnosis rates in underserved communities in Greater Manchester?

The Cancer and Inequalities fund is offering grants of up to £5,000 for Greater Manchester-based VCSE organisations to deliver projects that will raise awareness of the early signs and symptoms of cancer and identify and understand the barriers people face when receiving a cancer diagnosis.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation Youth-Led Creativity funding

The Youth-Led Creativity programme builds on young people's power to make change, use creativity to enhance their lives, develop their careers, and influence the world around them.

We Are Survivors has an ambitious strategy to ensure that #NoMaleSurvivorsIsLeftBehind and is looking for several new members of staff to help to achieve this.

In the roles available, you will help to provide key services across Greater Manchester. The Community team is made up of therapists, group, and community workers to support men and boys to access the services they need. The roles are recruiting are to grow this from the central hub wider across Greater Manchester.
