The fund is providing grants for businesses and organisations working in Greater Manchester’s foundational economy – including the health and social care, early education and childcare, and the local high street (retail, hospitality, culture, leisure and tourism) sectors - to trial new ideas and become more resilient. Initial grants of up to £11,000 are available.

We are pleased to say that the St Thomas Centre in Ardwick will continue to serve as a vital hub for voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Greater Manchester. Following the closure of GMCVO, we can now announce that agreement has been reached for Macc to take over responsibility for the Centre, safeguarding this important resource for our sector.
The Royal Literary Fund has worked with Communities First for several years, offering free workshops in writing skills, led by our professional writers. We also work with Recovery Colleges, the NHS, unions and the voluntary sector.
