Manchester Safeguarding Boards priorities survey

The Manchester Safeguarding Adults Board (MSAB) and the Manchester Safeguarding Children Board (MSCB) are statutory bodies made up of organisations that work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of adults, children, young people and their families. Together they make up the Manchester Safeguarding Boards and their role is to coordinate and ensure effective safeguarding across the city of Manchester.

Manchester Arena Memorial Grant Programme – apply by 9 February 2019

The Inter Faith Youth Trust is launching a new grant programme for young people’s organisations to hold inter faith events or activities in the Greater Manchester area. May 2019 will mark two years since the bombing at the Manchester Arena. The focus of the project is to highlight the good that can come from different communities working together in friendship. Grants are for between £200 to £1,000.

Youth Music is a national charity investing in music-making projects for children and young people (aged 0-25) experiencing challenging circumstances. Youth Music Network

Funding is focused on supporting projects for children and young people who face barriers to music-making as a result of who they are, where they live, or the circumstances they’re facing.

Online health questionnaire for young people

Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) are circulating an online questionnaire for young people aged 13 to 25 to collect their views on health and health care provision in Manchester. Greater Manchester Youth Network

This is as part of a  piece of work being carried out by Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group, so it’s a really good opportunity for young people to have their say on health services and get their voices heard.
