One Manchester Launches Community Fund

The One Manchester Community Fund will provide £500,000 in grant funding over the next five years. The first round of funding is open now, offering grants of up to £1,000 towards a range of projects that will improve the lives of people in our communities.

One Manchester is the new partnership between Eastlands Homes and City South Manchester Housing.

Adactus Housing Community Grant Scheme

Adactus Housing Association have announced the launch of their £66,000 Neighbourhood Fund for Manchester.

The fund, which is now in its sixth year, is open to individuals, residents groups, community groups, charitable organisations and social enterprises working in and around areas where Adactus have homes.

Persimmon Community Champions is here to fund good causes across the UK. In the next 12 months Persimmon Homes plan to give away up to £750,000 to fund local community initiatives.

The charity match programme gives donations of up to £1000 to local UK groups and charities, which have already raised vital funds themselves.

All of Persimmon Homes 24 businesses, their timber frame business Space4 and their PLC head office are giving away up to £2000 each every month – that’s £52,000 a month available to fund local community initiatives.

Challenge Manchester to raise £400,000 for four charities this summer

Challenge Manchester is hosting their first ever event in Manchester this summer, bringing together business communities in the North West to take part in four challenges in the city centre to help raise £400,000 for four Manchester charities.

Challenge Manchester will be taking place throughout June and July 2015.

Manchester businesses can enter a team of 10 employees or company clientele to represent them in the first ever City of Manchester Challenge.
